Google Hit Squad: Get More Hits!

Yes, we know. Our obsession with Google hits is pretty geeky. But here's why it matters -- the more times StemPAC is mentioned on the Web, the more people will know about StemPAC. And the more people who know about StemPAC, the better the chance we have of winnning this battle.

Through the Google Hit Squad, you can help spread the word about StemPAC -- and watch the progress in real time.  Just take the steps below, which will help to increase web mentions of StemPAC, and then keep coming back to watch the Google hits grow (see right column).  Start working now -- help us fight back.

Here's What You Can Do to Drive Up the Hits:

1) Add this to your email signature, blog comment signature, etc.

Fight back for stem cells
www.StemPAC.com

This way, every time you send an email or make a post, you'll be automatically spreading the word, and driving up the Google hits.

2) Blog about us:  If you have a blog, write about us, and put a StemPAC blog ad on your site (you can steal these ads right now from our blog page).

3) Spread the word online:  People are already talking about this issue -- tell them about StemPAC.com.  Here's how:

  • Go to Technorati.com, a blog search engine.
  • Type in the phrase "Stem cell"
  • Go to the blogs that are talking about this issue
  • Where appropriate, leave a short note about StemPAC.com (not sure what to say?  use the text from our tell a friend page )
  • Come back tomorrow (or as often as you can) and do the same thing

Please be considerate, and make sure to leave this note only where people might be interested (i.e., "inform" - don't "spam")

4) Share your story. Sharing your story not only puts a human face on stem cell research, it creates new pages that will show up in Google searches -- pages with incredibly compelling content.

5) Add your ideas for driving up hits on the StemPAC Blog.

Thank you for being part of the Google Hit Squad -- and for helping us fight back.
